It’s a love and hate relationship – you’re in the middle of working on something and the NOTICE windows arrives saying update available. Most times you just put it off, delay it – REMIND ME LATER option.
Well this one you may not want to delay – Adobe has been in the news a lot lately with hackers trying to take advantage of the product. This current update will hopefully close 23 of those holes. So if you have been using REMIND ME LATER, don’t next time.
One of the critical vulnerabilities is being used in attacks against Reader and Acrobat; the other, fixed in an emergency update late last month, targets Flash Player. Reader, Acrobat, and Flash Player. Details are in the latest security advisory. Read more:
The updates affect Adobe Reader 9.3.4 for Windows, Macintosh, and Unix; Adobe Acrobat 9.3.4 for Windows and Macintosh; and Adobe Reader 8.2.4 and Acrobat 8.2.4 for Windows and Macintosh to resolve issues in Reader, Acrobat, and Flash Player. Details are in the latest security advisory.
This is a blowing your own horn posting, but the post does include some good links and information. If your thinking of moving to WIN 7 anytime soon, this would be a page you would want to keep handy.
I have been using WIN7 since it was released and have had no issues, runs fast with no issues with anything not working, though I also had VISTA from almost the beginning as well with little to no problems.
Great piece of information is that I run WIN7 on a Dual Core 1.8 with 2G and it’s great. One reason you might want to look at CDI off lease products as we have both Dual Core and Core 2 Duo off-lease products available.

It seems apple really didn’t have a lot to say this round. Some small improvements and updates, nothing really new. Looking at the new Nona, I think I will stick with my 5th GEN product, seems too small for touch and a man’s fingers.
A great review and lots of comments can be found:

Public Beta Now Available SP1 for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1
Today, (July 12th) we announced at our annual Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) the availability of the public beta for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (SP1). As Gavriella Schuster and I have mentioned in previous blogs, SP1 for Windows 7 does not contain any new features specific to Windows 7. However, the new features in SP1 for Windows Server 2008 R2 benefit Windows 7 by providing a richer Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) experience.
How can anyone keep up with technology, it’s just impossible. Maybe if you didn’t work and had unlimited amounts of money it might be possible.
Every year Apple updates their Ipod line of products, I purchased my current Ipod a few months before the last refresh when they added the FM tuner, I was not a happy.
