I have talked about passwords in the past – suggested some password managers as well.
The last few days there has been a few articles around making your important passwords stronger and still remembering them. These two items don’t normally go together, but I think they do if you use one of the two suggestions below.
You don’t have to use either method for all your passwords, but you might want to consider them for your Windows Login – Password Manager program and your Banking passwords. These are key to keeping your information and money safe! The methods add a another level of complexity making it harder to break and easy to remember.
Using ASCII characters in your password – you get these by using the ALT key and the numeric keyboard – You have to remember these are not available on all type of systems – like your smartphone. SIMPLE “ALT 16” – Gives you the following character “►”

Another great option at least for your Windows Login password is adding spaces. Windows works great, but many other programs will not allow spaces in passwords.

REMEMBER – if you can stop someone from getting access to your PC, they can’t get any other information from your systems. You PC login needs to have a very strong password to make sure your secure. So my suggestion would be to use both methods for your PC.
